Colorado Skies Academy Charter School

TJC provided civil engineering design including grading, utilities, horizontal control, erosion control, stormwater design, and construction administration for new Colorado Skies Academy Charter School located on the Wings Over the Rockies – Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport grounds. The 27,000 SF school facility is an aerospace-focused school authorized by the Cherry Creek School District. TJC designed the civil engineering site plans for placement of temporary school classroom facilities as well as the permanent school building. Additionally, TJC prepared a Floodplain Modification Study for Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) to remove the existing floodplain from the site and enable construction of the new school campus.
